My name is Orville Parker. Everyone who hear my first name before they are introduced to me frequently imagine that I will be a dork. Or an outcast, like that Martin who goes styling with a button up shirts and horn-rimmed glasses while he promotes apartments. Several friends think of Hobart and Gidget Brown, but recently, a single person that has anticipated me to be a Legal Document Translation trainer.

Honestly, I’m not a car man or a dork. I’m a counselor in hiring and job seeking. I’ve depleted most of my adult life coaching professionals on locating careers and teaching professional placement trainers how to do similar work.

During the previous 14 months I have been the Senior Vice President Program Planning and Solution Creation for the leading mult national job services company. The title is has so many words that it can’t all fit on my business card, but it a outstanding and I appreciate it. Some individuals view the title and think I am a Certified Transcript Translation executive, but I have never seen myself that way. I’ve always seen who I am as more like a professor. And I think you can indicate that I’m a director. I direct individuals through the employment search maze to more attractive opportunities.

When I began in this field in the 1980’s, I started by being employed with individuals in large networking rooms to train them on their careers and how to find great unadvertised jobs. I trained with production associates, marketing professionals, and secretaries in the company. Most of my workers were unemployed, so it was necessary to them to find work as rapidly as possible. With this task, I absorbed a lot about what individuals need to do—and not do—to seek employment more rapidly. After I had struggled one on one with tens of individuals for a number of weeks, I began instructing classes on how to locate employment. I found millions of individuals in groups of 25. Again, I continued this for numerous weeks.
